is part of the international Lefevere Group, a Belgium based family owned group of companies established in 1900, and established in the Czech Republic since 1995.
Founded as Wood & Plastics sro in 1995 to manufacture speakerboxes for the main international brand names, it was transformed into Letoplast in 2004 (name comes from the town Letovice and plastic) to focus on development and production of injection moulded, painted and assembled technical parts for the TV, audio and automotive industry.
Between 2006 and 2008 an ambitious investment plan was, implemented, consisting a new production hall, large injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 850T to 2000T, several automated painting lines and assembling lines; mainly to address the rising demand of housings of flat TV’s and Automotive.
Another production hall with injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 150T to 450T assures the production of small and medium sized plastics for automotive and consumer electronics.
